If the evening changes
More than twenty-four hours' notice returns the whole deposit. Inside the last day, while she has not yet left, half the deposit is kept as fee already earned and half comes back. From the moment she sets out, the deposit is kept in full. If the hour is taken by another guest, the deposit is repaid, and if the real loss was smaller than the share kept, only the smaller sum is kept.
